Two people, father and son, were arrested by the police for cultivation and possession of cannabis. According to the Blue Uniforms of Elbasan, citizens Selim Beqari and Zamir Beqari had cultivated cannabis on a piece of land in the village of Gracen. The officers also found and seized in the residence of these citizens, several bags with a quantity of 58 kilograms of cannabis. 

At the same time, the administrator of the Gracen Administrative Unit, 58-year-old F.S., was arrested in the act. and the village headman, citizen R.B. 62 years old. 

Three other people who are suspected of being involved in the cultivation of cannabis have been placed under investigation. 

"The anti-cannabis police operation codenamed "Bodin", developed with proactive investigative methods, is finalized. 

They cultivated narcotic plants on their land, in the village of Bobin, and then processed them, 2 citizens (father and son) were arrested in the act. 

Also in handcuffs, the administrator of the Gracen Administrative Unit, as well as the village chief of Bodin, in the Gracen Administrative Unit, Elbasan. 

As part of this operation, 3 other citizens, suspected to be involved in this criminal activity, are under investigation. 

Following successive operations to crack down on criminal activities in the field of production and sale of narcotics, the Narcotics Investigation specialists of the Criminal Police Department and those of Elbasan, after a real investigative work carried out with proactive methods , in cooperation with the Special Operational Force of the State Police, finalized the anti-cannabis police operation coded "Bodin". 

As part of this operation, the following citizens were arrested red-handed, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Cultivation of narcotic plants", carried out in collaboration: 

– S. B., 62 years old, resident of Bodin village, and Mr. B., 27 years old, resident of Saranda (father and son). 

From the control exercised on the land of these citizens, in the village of Bodin, Gracen, Elbasan, 17 cut plants, suspected narcotic cannabis, were found and seized as material evidence. 

Also, during the control, 7 bags filled with suspected cannabis narcotics were found and seized as material evidence, with a total weight of about 58 kilograms. 

At the same time, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offenses of "Abuse of duty" and "Misconduct of crime": 

– F. S., 58 years old, resident in Elbasan, administrator of Gracen Administrative Unit, Elbasan; 

– R. B., 62 years old, the headman of Bodin village, Gracen, Elbasan. 

As part of this operation, 2 citizens were criminally prosecuted, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Cultivation of narcotic plants", carried out in cooperation, as well as 1 other citizen, for the criminal offense "Criminal obstruction". 

In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Elbasan Judicial District Court, the work continues on clarifying and fully documenting this case.
