After more than 5 hours of searching, the dead body of the 75-year-old man, who allegedly threw himself into the Buna River, was found. The elderly man was found in the course of the river and no signs of violence were found from the examination of the body. 

It was the family members of the deceased who informed the police that the 75-year-old man had been thrown into the river this morning (August 15).

"Following the preliminary information given this morning, according to which, citizen N. Ç., 75 years old, was suspected to have drowned himself in the Buna river, we inform you that: 

After more than 5 hours of non-stop research, the services of the Shkodër Police Station found the dead body of the 75-year-old man in the course of the Buna river, which, on examination, was found to have no signs of violence. 

The dead body of citizen N. Ç. was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for further examinations. 

Investigations continue to document the circumstances of this event with legal evidence," the police said.
