Energy Authority Reduces Prices for Household Consumers

The Energy Regulatory Authority approved this Wednesday the reduce of the electricity for household consumers.

The new reduced prices, will enter in force on February 1 and will be valid until December 31, 2025.

For household consumers who spend up to 700 kw/h, the price will be 8.5 lek per kilowatt hour, i.e. 1 lek less that is actually. While for those households that consume more than 700 kilowatts, the price will be 9.5 lek per kilowatt.

Meanwhile, as for consumers who are above this band, i.e. those who consume 701 KWh, they will have to pay the entire amount of energy from KWh 1 to KWh 701 at a price of 9.5 lek per KWh.
