Health Problems, Ex-Gang Leader Up for Tirana Hospital Transport

General Directorate of Prisons in cooperation with the State Police this Friday will move the convicted former notorious gang leader, Emiliano Shullazi.

Sources have confirmed that Shullazi's move from prison 313 to QSUT for some medical examinations planned by doctors.

Shullazi is recognized by the Albanian justice as part of a dangerous criminal gang and is accused of several criminal offenses, such as: "Coercion through threats to give property", "Threats due to duty", "Destruction of property with explosives", "Structured group criminal ”as well as“ Actions within the structured criminal group ”.

In November 2018, the Serious Crimes Court found Emiliano Shullazi guilty of "misappropriation of property", "threat", and "structured criminal group" and sentenced him to 14 years in prison.

His accomplice Gilmando Dani was sentenced to 12 years in prison, Endrit Qyqja and Endrit Zela to 10 years each and Blerim Shullazi to 9 years in prison.
