Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has reacted to the death of the Socialist Party MP, Bashkim Fino, praising him as one of the most prominent personalities of the Socialist Party (SP). 

Berisha describes Fino as a moderate voice within the extremist leading group of the Socialist Party, while he prays that May Finos's soul rest in peace!

Friends, Covid 19 prematurely took Bashkim Fino, one of the most prominent personalities of the Socialist Party and the government of the country. 

During these 30 years in politics, Bashkim has held important positions from the mayor of his hometown of Gjirokastra to the prime minister of the government of national reconciliation in 1997, whose main task was to prepare for early elections, the task of which in my estimation he fulfilled in a spirit of cooperation and responsibility. 

After those elections until today, he as an MP of the SP and has performed important tasks, remaining a moderate voice in the extremist leading group of the SP. 

Expressing my deepest condolences to the Fino family for the irreparable loss, I pray to God that the soul of Bashkim finds the peace it deserves. Amen!" Berisha stated.
