A 60-year-old man from Fushë-Arrëz was handcuffed at the border point of Morinë this Sunday, after trying to smuggle fireworks and firecrackers to Albania. 

During the search of this citizen's vehicle, the police found and seized 131 fireworks, 4,500 firecrackers, clothing and various undeclared goods. 

Afterwards, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution for further actions on the detainee. 

"Services of Border Police in Qafë Morinë, Tropoja, following the controls to combat illegalities at the border, based on the risk analysis and selective controls, at the entrance of the RSh, have moved to the second line, for more control details, the "Touran" type vehicle, with a 60-year-old citizen as the driver. 

At the end of the investigative actions, the crime investigation specialists of DVKM Kukës arrested in flagrantia the 60-year-old citizen, resident of Fushë Arrëz", said the law enforcement.
