Durresi was flooded this Wednesday as heavy rain engulfed many cities of Albania.

Ministry of Defense informed that many houses were flooded in Durres, in the area known as 'Ura e Dajlanit'.

Actually there are a high presence of water in the city of Durresi, while the areas of Shkozet, beach area and the Stadium are the areas more affected by flooding.

"Local structures are committed to repairing the consequences created and are working intensively to manage the situation. The National Civil Protection Agency will continue to monitor the situation, to coordinate forces until the situation normalizes," the Ministry of Defense announced.
