Former Minister Requires to Reduce His Jail Sentence
Former minister of Interior Affairs, Saimir Tahiri requires from Court to recognize the sentence of probation, given by the court for Serious Crimes. Tahiri, who is serving a sentence of 3.5 years in prison in Lushnje has applied to the Elbasan court to recognize his probation period.
This court will discuss the new request on October 10 and if his request will be accepted, Tahiri will benefit at least 1.6 years of jail less.
Tahiri is in jail from eight months now accused for abuse of duty.
