Former Socialist MP Assails Vangjush Dako

Former MP of Socialist Party (SP), Spartak Braho declared this Tuesday that the SP can not win the elections in Durrës by appointing Vangjush Dako as chief of staff.

Braho said that Prime Minister Edi Rama has left aside many former socialist MPs, adding that he himself has rebuked him for his cooperation with Dako.

"Rama has forgotten us. The SP was the big party and came from the Labor Party and came modernizing, freeing itself from communist dogmas and moving to a social-democratic party. It needs to be reformed. The Prime Minister is a very good executive, also very hardworking, but he is flawed in the selection of people he has engaged. Elections are not won by appointing Chief of Staff Vangjush Dako. He is 'non grata'. Yesterday he was with the SP structures. A man who has turned Durrës into a sock. He is the head of ‘Cosa Nostra’, not in quotes, but real in Durrës. His sister is the chief accountant in the municipality, his brothers build palaces, hotels on state lands. I will vote for the SP, not for Vangjush Dako. He has destroyed the party. There is no SP in Durrës, this makes me suffer", said Braho.
