Former U.S. President Bill Clinton to Visit Albania for 1st Time
The 42nd President of the United States Bill Clinton will visit Albania for the first time on July 3-4, 2023.
Mr. Clinton and his accompanying delegation will arrive in Tirana on Monday afternoon, July 3, where he will be welcomed by Prime Minister Edi Rama with an official arrival ceremony in front of the Prime Minister’s office along the Martyrs of the Nation Boulevard, with participation of local residents.
Once the national anthems of the United States of America and Albania are played, Prime Minister Rama and the 42nd U.S. President Bill Clinton will review the guard of honour and honour the national flags of both nations.
At 19:05 hrs, Prime Minister Edi Rama will deliver a special occasion speech and will then invite Mr. Bill Clinton to accept a medal due to be awarded to him.
An honouring ceremony is scheduled to take place at 19:25 hrs to award the Star of Gratitude for Public Achievements to former U.S. President Bill Clinton, who is expected to deliver a speech.
