Significant drop in temperatures is expected to be recorded in Albania during this week, up to -4 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas, while the maximum temperature is expected to be 12 degrees Celsius.

Light snowfall is also expected in the mountainous areas, as Sunday evening and Monday morning have brought massive rain throughout Albania, where the most affected areas are those of the Western Lowlands, in which floods have been observed.

Meteorologist Adiola Bani revealed that the weather is expected to improve only during the afternoon of today and Tuesday morning, where clear skies are forecast.

According to her, the weather will continue to be stable until Thursday, while another deterioration is expected on Friday.

Meanwhile, drops in temperatures and snowfall is expected in Kosovo and North Macedonia, which today will be engulfed by heavy rainfall, although the situation is expected to improve tomorrow.
