Gangster Shullaz’s Rights Were Violated in Appellate, C.Court Finds

Constitutional Court has accepted on Friday the request of the former gang head, Emiliano Shullazi, who asked that his closure in the "41 Bis" regime be considered unconstitutional, ruling that his rights were violated during the Appellate Court process.

According to the Constitutional Court, Appellate decisions contradict the Constitution because Emiliano Shullazi's right to due process has been violated.

The Court has found that Emiliano Shullazi's right to due process has been violated because the courts have denied him the right to be equal in the process as a party to present evidence.

Despite this decision, Shullazi does not leave the regime of the wild prison "41 biss", but this forces the courts to review the secret acts on the basis of which the Minister of Justice has decided to isolate him in "41 biss", as the courts refused to review the acts on the grounds that it was secret.

Referring to this decision, Shullazi and every person imprisoned in "41 biss" has the right to know the content of secret acts.

Emiljano Shullazi, Endrit Qyqja, Genci Balla, Arbion Aliko, Redjan Rraja, Fatmir Pjetri, Arbër Cekaj ??and Aleksandër Llanaj have been isolated in the special prison regime so far.
