The prosecution in Gjirokastra required Sunday 12 arrests warrants for the coded operation 'Andromeda' against drugs trafficking.

Police informed that during this police operation ten people have been arrested while two others were left in 'House Arrest' security measure, two of them were police officers of custom.

According to police, those arrested are: Herolind Haskaj, Dorian Osmani, Kevin Gega, Bledar Caka, Redon Gjini, Elidon Tocka, Ilr Kocollari, Eno Dulaj, Ervis Celo and Thoma Karanxha.

Meanwhile, were left in house arrest Elvin Norra and Mario Feruni.

According to police these citizens worked as a criminal organisation on drug trafficking in Gjirokaster.
