Govt' Priority Recommendations on the Fight Against Criminality for 2025 Introduced at the GPO

Today, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Ulsi Manja, presented the Council of Ministers’ priority recommendations for the fight against criminality in 2025 at the premises of the General Prosecutor’s Office, pursuant to Law no. 97, dated 06.10.2016, “On the Organization and Functioning of the Prosecution in the Republic of Albania.” The presentation took place in the presence of the General Prosecutor, Mr. Olsian Çela; the Head of the Special Prosecution Office, Mr. Altin Dumani; as well as the heads of general jurisdiction prosecution offices across the country.
The priority recommendations encompass eight key areas: the reinforcement of the rule of law and the safeguarding of human rights; the strengthening of efforts to combat criminality; the promotion of integrity, transparency, and accountability within the justice system; the efficiency and the enhancement of institutional capacities; the adoption of cutting-edge investigative methodologies; enhanced cooperation with the Ministry of Justice; the fostering of inter-institutional cooperation; and that of international partnerships.
