Greece Postpones Borders' Opening with Albania

Greece has decided to postpone again the opening of the border point of Kapshtica with Albania, although a few days ago this State decided to open the borders to tourists from EU countries and some other states.

Greek authorities have informed the Albanian Police of Kapshtica that this border point will continue to be blocked until April 26.

The Kapshtica police have announced the news this Monday morning, while informing that leaving Greece towards our country is allowed from 06:00 to 22:00.

“The Greek Police authorities, following the measures taken by the Greek government on coping with the situation created due to the COVID-19 pandemic, have notified the Albanian side for the extension of the blockade of the Kapshtica Border Crossing Point, until 26.04. 2021.

Until this date, the exit from Albania and the entrance to Greece through this crossing point, continues to be closed. While leaving Greece and entering our country will be allowed from 06:00 to 22:00, for all citizens and vehicle categories.
