A serious incident took place in Greece, where it is suspected that a mother raped her 6-month-old baby to death. The event happened today, around 13:50 in Makrochori, Imathia. 

According to 'Protothema.gr', the baby's grandparents came to the hospital with the 6-month-old baby, after they found him at home abused by his mother. It is learned that the baby's mother had significant psychological problems and suffers from depression, while the father was not present at the tragic moment. 

The Greek authorities are investigating whether the baby's death, while the version that the mother may have thrown the child from the balcony has not been ruled out. 

The 37-year-old, resident of Makrohori and mother of two other minor children, was arrested and is being held at the Imathi Police Station.
