Greece Opens Border with N. Macedonia amid Pandemic

Greece has decided Thursday to reopen the border crossing point with North Macedonia. Starting from Friday, Evzoni border point with Greece, will be open to the citizens of North Macedonia.

This news was revealed by North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, who after the meeting with his Hellenic counterpart, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, said that from tomorrow Greece will open the above border point.

Meanwhile, for Macedonian citizens to enter Greece, a vaccination certificate, a negative PCR test or having passed Covid-19 is required.

"We had an excellent meeting with the Prime Minister of Greece, Micotakis. He informed me that starting from tomorrow, May 14, 2021, the Evzoni border crossing will be opened for all citizens of RMV, who have a negative PCR test, evidence of two accepted doses of Covid-19 vaccine or a positive result for antibodies", pronounced Prime Minister Zaev.
