Greece Opens Borders with Albania 24 Hours a Day

The border with the Greek state will be open 24 hours a day, without any limit. It is learned that this applies to all border crossing points with the Greek state, from Qafe-Bota, Kapshtica and Kakavija.

The Albanian side stressed that entry to Greece will be allowed for Albanian citizens with passports, those with Greek residence permits, other European citizens, who must be equipped with the COVID-19 test and have completed the registration form PLF at the address www.travel.gov.gr.

Heavy-duty vehicles and buses will also be allowed to enter Greece. Their drivers must register for the PLF form and must undergo a rapid COVID-19 test at the Greek side of the crossing.

The Greek Police authorities have informed the Albanian side that entry into Greece will be allowed for Albanian citizens with passports, citizens with Greek residence permits, other European citizens, who must be equipped with the COVID-19 test and have completed the PLF registration form at the address www.travel.gov.gr.

Once they have received the confirmation, they will be allowed to enter the Greek state. Heavy-duty vehicles and buses will also be allowed to enter Greece, whose drivers must register the PLF form and undergo a rapid COVID-19 test at the Greek side of the crossing. Kapshtica Border Crossing Point will operate 24 hours, without limited hours.
