Hashish Disguised as Chocolate, Albanian Arrested by Greek Police

An Albanian citizen and a Greek have been handcuffed by the Department of Narcotics in the Greek city of Kalamata, under charges of drug trafficking, mainly processed and raw hashish, as well as hashish oil. The hashish was processed into chocolate and sprinkled with pepper so it wouldn't be sniffed by police dogs. 

In total, more than 5 kilograms of hashish were seized, while Greek media reports that the two arrested persons, the 54-year-old Albanian and the 83-year-old Greek citizen, used their apartments as places to store drugs. 

The police authorities, in the control exercised in the two houses and in an electrical household service owned by the Albanian, have found and confiscated: 

– 17 packets of hashish with a total weight of 4890.6 grams. 

– Amount of hashish processed, type of chocolate, total weight 407.1 grams. 

– 1 bottle of hashish oil, total weight 63 grams. 

– 2 hashish cigarettes. 

– 2 packs of tobacco, which did not have the excise label. 

– 2 scales 

– 2 cell phones 

- The amount of money of 2000 euros, benefited from drug trafficking.
