National Inspectorate for Protection of the Territory (IKMT) demolished this Friday two five-storey buildings in Hamallaj, Durrës. The facilities have been assessed as uninhabitable and dangerous by experts, with severe damage from last November's earthquake. 

At the same time, IKMT continues to demolish other objects damaged by the earthquake and declared dangerous, in Shijak, in Durrës, in Ishëm, where only during this week, respectively: a five-storey building in Shijak; a five-storey building in Durrës, a three-storey building in Ishëm. 

From the beginning of the work for the demolition of buildings damaged by the earthquake in order to start the construction of new buildings, IKMT informs that it has demolished 130 buildings of considerable size. There were no incidents or disputes with residents during the process.
