Ilir Rusi was elected as the new head of the High Judicial Council. The decision was taken this Tuesday during the last meeting of this council after the mandate of the actual head Naureda Llagami ended.

Rusi earlier was in the position of the vice chairmen of this Council.

On the other side, Llagami was replaced in her post as a member of the HJC by Violanda Theodhori, who was elected by the Parliament.
