The State Technical and Industrial Inspectorate (ISHTI) has clarified the event that took place on Sunday morning in Velipoja, when a gas cylinder explosion exploded and injured four members of a family.

According to the announcement the whole event came as a result of a human error. The explosion and fire are suspected to have occurred from the gas leak from one of the camping containers which may have been left open overnight. 

"The amount of gas leaked and the airtightness of the environment has created conditions for explosion and fire in the presence of external factors, such as lighting lights in this environment or the use of other sources of fire by human negligence," said in a statement the Inspectorate.
