The Italian Embassy informs that there have been problems in the conversion of Albanian and Italian patents. Despite the fact that the Albania-Italy agreement entered into force on July 12, it seems that it is not fully functional. 

However, the embassy guarantees that some verifications are being carried out and the problems will be solved so that the patents can be converted as soon as possible. In March this year, Albania and Italy reached an agreement on mutual recognition of patents, while in July it entered into force.

"Regarding the Patent Agreement, which entered into force on July 12, we inform you that verifications are being carried out to resolve some technical problems to enable those interested to apply for a patent conversion as soon as possible," informed the Embassy.
