Italy, Two Albanians Caught with Cocaine, EUR 22,000
Two Albanian citizens are arrested in Italy, after they were caught with cocaine and over 22 thousand euros in cash in the apartment. The Albanians, sister and brother, aged 30 and 25 years old, were captured.
The two Albanians made drug deliveries to buyers' homes with the help of mobile phones.
On Thursday afternoon, the investigators followed the young woman who was caught in Cassano Magnago giving a dose of cocaine of about half a gram to an Italian citizen, against the value of 50 euros. Four more doses and 140 euros were found in her bag.
A subsequent search of her home revealed her brother's involvement. During the search, 500 kilograms of cocaine divided into nine wrappers weighing about 50 grams each and 73 other doses were found and seized.
Thus, 22,300 euros in cash and 5 mobile phones were discovered, with which the two arrested persons received orders.
