Following the operation codenamed "Perimeter", Korça Police has handcuffed this Friday the 34-year-old D. H.

The latter is accused as an accomplice of 27-year-old M. Xh., who was arrested a few days ago in Pogradec, after being found in his "BMW" car, with 9 illegal immigrants.

“The police operation "Perimeter" continues. Another citizen is handcuffed for the criminal offense "Assistance in illegal border crossing", committed in collaboration.

The services of the Pogradec Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the structures for the Investigation of Crimes in DVP Korça and the Border Police, following the police operation codenamed "Perimeter", detained the citizen D. H., 34 years old, resident in Pogradec.

From the investigative actions carried out for the complete documentation of the event that occurred on 19.05.2021, in the neighbourhood no. 3, Pogradec, where the Police services arrested the citizen M. Xh., 27 years old, resident in Korça, who was transporting with the vehicle type “BMW”, 9 illegal emigrants, it turned out that his accomplice in this activity criminal was also 34-year-old DH.

The materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Pogradec Court of First Instance, for further actions,” the police inform.
