Kosova Implements Reprimanding Measures for Non-RKS License Plates
The circulation at the Bërnjak border point is lower than other days and there are additional EULEX units, while reprimanding measures for illegal license plates in Kosova came into force this Tuesday.
Reprimanding measures for illegal number plates for those who refuse to convert them to "RKS" (Republic of Kosova) has officially entered into force.
The Kosovo Police has announced that it has made the necessary preparations from 00:00 on November 1 to start with the enforcement of citizens who have illegal license plate cars.
Until now, it is not known how many citizens have been taken measures. However, at the border point in Bërnjak, in the last 30 minutes, no car with illegal license plates has entered the territory of Kosovo.
Meanwhile, in the morning in North Mitrovica near the Ibri bridge, there were a large number of KM vehicles, but no police officers were seen to take measures.
Owners who re-register their vehicles will be exempted from customs fees, administrative fees, license plate fees and vehicle registration certificate fees. They have to change their license plates from initials of the cities where they live to RKS.
