Kosovo Speaker of Parliament Reacts after Meeting Rama

Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, spoke to journalists in Pristina after the meeting with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama.

He stated that Kosovo was placed in this position against its will, referring to the tensions in the municipalities in the north of the country.

"There are no guilty parties here. There can only be responsibility here. We have only positive, not negative, responsibilities towards Serbian citizens. I explained to Rama that we have been put in this position against our will.

Here Serbia, with its actions, has put us in front of two options. No one excluded the mayors of the municipalities. They resigned at the behest of Belgrade. That part of the territory remains vacant. What should Kosovo do?", he declared.

He stated that the meeting between the governments of Kosovo and Albania was canceled without any major reason.
