Nikolin Marku alias Lekstakaj was killed this Wednesday evening in Balldre village of Lezha. 

The victim was leaving a market in the village, when he was shot by still unidentified persons, who left immediately. 

It is learned that only the shop assistant was present when perpetrators shot towards the victim. Investigative team is combing the area to find the killers.

Lezhe/Preliminary information

On 19.07.2023, at around 18:30, in Balldre, Lezhë, under still unclear circumstances, citizen N. M (L), about 42 years old, was shot dead. 

Immediately, the police services went to the scene and surrounded the area, a checkpoint was set up and the combing of the area continues for the identification and capture of the perpetrator(s). 

The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is continuing the work to clarify and document the circumstances of the event, identify and capture the perpetrator/s.
