A baby who accidentally consumed methadone a few days ago and was sent from Saranda to the Albanian capital, died in Trauma Hospital of Tirana this Thursday. 

She was only 18 months and was taken on Sunday by helicopter from the Saranda Hospital after receiving first aid. 

The child is suspected of consuming methadone in an apartment in Delvina. Methadone was left on the table by her uncle, who is suspected of being a drug user.  

However, the minor girl was the child of an Italian citizen and her mother was from Delvina.
