After the state ceremony, the athlete Luiza Gega, declared European champion, revealed the financial reward that she benefits from the recent success in Europe with the first place in 3 thousand meters steeplechase. 

"It is not a secret to say that from the first place, according to the new Albanian sports law, I benefit 4 million ALL. As the European record holder of the 3,000-meter steeplechase race, I also benefit another 6 million ALL," said Luiza Gega. 

So, in total, Luiza Gega will be rewarded with 10 million ALL. At the same time, she will receive the title of 'Colone' and receive the salary of a senior officer. Likewise, the Municipality of Tirana is preparing another reward altogether.
