Magnitude 5.7 Earthquake Strikes Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tremors in Albania

An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 struck the Bosnia and Herzegovina region, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said late on Friday.

The quake was at a depth of 2 km (1.2 miles), EMSC said. While strong and long tremors were felt even in Albania causing panic among citizens.

According to ESMC, the affected countries were: Croatia, Italy, Montenegro, Serbia, and Albania as it happened at 11:07 PM.
