Montenegro will open its borders to countries in the region, including Albania and Kosovo, starting from Saturday. 

The news was announced by the director of the Institute of Public Health, Boban Mugosa, in an interview for 'Vijesti' television. Mugosa said also that citizens willing to pass the border must have undergone the coronavirus test. 

"To enter Montenegro you need the COVID-19 test," said Mugosa, who added that the decision to open the borders was made at the request of the tourism industry, as it was hit hard during the pandemic.
