Names of Arrested by SPAK Order in Tirana OP Revealed
Tirana Police conducted Monday evening an action by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK), where arrest warrants were issued for the former director of the Tirana Police and 10 other people, while the son was declared wanted.
Ervin Mata, who is suspected to be abroad according to journalist Hoxha, is suspected of being a structured criminal group, drug trafficking and carrying out actions by a criminal organization.
A security measure has also been set for Ismail Zeneli, who, apart from the charges against Mata, also has the charge of providing the conditions to commit murder.
Bujar Ajeti, from Kukësi, has the same charges as Zeneli. Meanwhile, Dedian Gjoni, head of crimes in Kombinat, who is from Lezha, is suspected of having provided the conditions to commit a murder in cooperation with the criminal group.
Erzen Breçani's son is also suspected of international drug trafficking and money laundering. The former official and Eraldi's father, Erzen Breçani, has the crime of money laundering and supporting the perpetrator of the crime.
This list also includes Besmir Murati, Artan Sulejmani, Albert Prenga and Bajram Grabova, suspected of cocaine trafficking. The group trafficked cocaine from Ecuador and Colombia to the countries of the European Union.
Jonida Babameto has been arrested for her time as an Interpol officer, and is suspected of passing information to the group.
Meanwhile, plans to kill opponents took place between 2019-2020 in Durrës, Belgium and the Netherlands.
In addition to the breakdown of the bargains for the drug shipments, the reason for the crime plans was the collision and feud between Ervis Martini (much wanted and with two security measures in the absence of prison arrest) and Ervin Mata (wanted).
The 11 security measures are a court decision following the request of the SPAK special prosecutor, Vladimir Mara. The operation started yesterday evening and is still ongoing.
