Gritto Domenico and Vicenzo Tizziano are the two Italian tourists, who died on the Saranda-Ksamil road segment after the motorcycle they were traveling on collided with a 'Mercedes Benz' vehicle. 

The serious event happened around 03:00 in the place called "Hidrovor".  

Collision was fatal for the Italian tourists while the two youths, 16 and 17 years old, were taken to the hospital for medical assistance. 

Meanwhile, the investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident. 

"Around 03:00 on 24.08.2023, on the Sarandë-Ksamil road axis, in the place called "Hidrovor", a "Mercedes Benz" type vehicle, driven by the citizen E.R., 17 years old, collided with a "Honda" type motorcycle ". 

As a result of the collision, the Italian citizen D. G., 24 years old, and another citizen, still unidentified, who were traveling with the "Honda" motorcycle, lost their lives. 

The driver of the vehicle, citizen E.R., was taken to the hospital, along with citizen M.R., a passenger in the vehicle", said the police.
