New Details on Five Albanians that Died in Car Accident in Greece

A 16-year-old and a 19-year-old were among the five Albanians who died on Tuesday afternoon in Edessa, Greece, after the car they were traveling in collided with a truck.

The rest were men aged 55, 50, 19 and 16, while the fifth person has not yet been identified.

Greek media reported that they were seasonal workers working on farms in the area and were heading towards Skydra.

In still unclear circumstances, the car with Albanian license plates left the lane and went into the opposite direction, colliding head-on with a truck, a collision that proved fatal for them.

According to the first information, the driver of the car was the 55-year-old man.

An indicator of the severity of the collision is the fact that the only part of the car that remained intact was the trunk.
