Albaniandailynews.com has learned other details about the event in Mirdita, where a 10-year-old child drowned in the Fan River. 

The child, identified as S. Laska was playing with a ball and the ball fell into the river. The juvenile ran to get the ball, but fell in the river flow. Divers started to search for his but but after a few hours they were stopped due to darkness. The search is expected to begin tomorrow.

"Today, around 18:45, in the village of Shtrungaj, Fan, Mirditë, in the river Fan, a 10-year-old minor, resident in Fan, Mirditë, drowned. Upon receiving the notification, the Police services immediately went to the scene and together with the residents started the search. 

Special Forces RENEA's divers were also put on alert, who went in the direction of the scene, but due to the darkness, the search for the body of the 10-year-old was stopped. The investigative group is working to fully uncover the event", Police announced.
