New Head of Vlora Prosecution Appointed

Aurel Zarka has been elected by the High Prosecution Council (HPC) as the Head of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Vlora. 

The High Council of the Prosecution held this Thursday the hearing session for the selection of the Head of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Vlora. 

The HPC announced that, respecting all the legal obligations, the 2 qualified candidates at this stage were Albert Kuliçi and Aurel Zarka, who had successfully passed the verification of assets and image. 

Their candidacy and evaluation for each specific criterion was approved during the meeting on January 24, on the proposal of the Career Development Commission. Candidates presented their platform to the Council and at the end of each presentation, they answered questions and comments made by its members. 

At the end of the respective presentations, the Council withdrew to continue with the scoring and voting process, to then approve the decision on the ranking of candidates. After evaluating 2 (two) prosecutorial candidates, the Council decided on the ranking of the candidates, Aurel Zarka (218 points) and Albert Kuliçi (178 points).
