Some 16 people were injured due to fireworks during the New Year's Eve in Albania.

The news was confirmed by the General Director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, during the inspection.

According to him, everyone took the necessary health care, while no further serious cases happened. 

During the inspections, Director Proda, evaluated the police work in terrain.
