Newly Reconfirmed-in-Office Interior Minister Vows to Work for Public Safety

Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi that was reconfirmed as part of the third mandate of Prime Minister Edi Rama’s government has promised Thursday that he will continue to work to face the challenges of ensuring order, public safety and tackling lawlessness in Albania.

On his social media statement, the Minister underlined that territorial control, the fight against crime and raising the work of the State Police to another level, remain the common priority throughout the third term.

“Reconfirmation in the post of Minister of Interior and the political leadership of the Berat region are another appreciation by the Prime Minister and the Socialist Party, as well as a high responsibility at the same time.

At the helm of this very important institution I will continue to work to advance the challenges related to guaranteeing order, public safety, life and property of citizens, as well as dealing with lawlessness.

Territorial control, the fight against crime and raising the work of the State Police to another level, remain our common priority throughout the third term. The mandate is a new trust contract to continue with the work started, to make the great separation of the country and to build our future here.

A special thanks especially to all the collaborators, friends and citizens in the Gjirokastra region, for the support they have given me of the Socialist Party in these years.

I look forward to working with the socialists and citizens of Berat, Skrapar, Poliçan, Kuçova and Dimali, to do as good work as in the Gjirokastra region, to further push investments and projects that develop tourism, agriculture and other sectors of the economy of this county”, stated Minister Çuçi.
