Albanian government has financed the total reconstruction and with all standards of the Elbasan-Labinot Mal road, 16 km, with a fund of ALL 3.5 billion. 

Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party Taulant Balla and the Mayor of Elbasan Gledian Llatja closely inspected the works, while expressing their conviction in the development of this area, after the construction of the road. 

“Work has started for the investment in one of the most important rural roads of Elbasan, such as the road in Labinot Mal. It is a 16 km road which will guarantee all the necessary standards. The project of the Municipality of Elbasan was financed by the Albanian Government in the amount of ALL 3.5 billion. 

This road serves several thousand inhabitants of this area, one of the largest administrative units of Elbasan. Our goal is to revitalize this area, to give it the necessary development in terms of agro-tourism", declared Balla. 

For Mayor Llatja, this is a promise kept by the Albanian government that comes to the aid of more than 15.000 inhabitants. 

"It was a long-standing request of the residents of the Labinot Mal unit. There are more than 3.000 inhabitants living in this area and another 15.000 inhabitants living in the city, but continue to work and develop their lands here. 

It is an investment of the Albanian Government to come to the aid of these residents, not only for the road, but to bring them closer to the city and services ", said Llatja.
