Organizer of Attacks against KFOR Arrested, 3 Policemen Injured

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, has announced that this Tuesday the Kosovo Police has arrested one of the organizers of the attacks against KFOR members in the north, Milun Milenkovic-Llune. 

Minister Sveçla wrote on Facebook that during his arrest, three Kosovo Police officers were attacked. 

Sveçla also wrote that: "The Republic will not retreat". 

"Kosovo Police today arrested Milun Milenkovic-Llune, one of the leaders of the criminal formation 'Civil Defence' and the leader of criminal gangs that over the years have terrorized our citizens, attacked members of the Kosovo Police and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. The same was also the main organizer of the attacks against KFOR forces and the Kosovo Police in Zveçan. During his arrest, Kosovo Police officials were attacked, in which case three of them were slightly injured," he writes. 

He also wrote that the time of criminal gangs in the north of our country is over. 

"All individuals or criminal groups that have violated the security and constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo will face justice. The Republic will not back down", he writes.
