Panamanian-Flagged Ship Engulfed in Flames in Durres

A Panamanian-flagged ship was engulfed in flames this Saturday afternoon at the Port of Durrës. 

New details have been revealed about the cause of the fire. Sources inform that the fire occurred as a result of an electrical incident. 

According to the information, the ship is owned by Albanian Kledis Mari. The fire first started in a warehouse in the stern of the ship. 

There they kept materials such as clothes, a washing machine, etc. In addition to the crew, several firefighters also went to the ship. 

Meanwhile, it is announced that the intensity of the flames has already decreased and that it is under control.
