Parents Gather in Protest to Seek 'Turgut Ozal's Reopening

Parents and children are protesting this Thursday in front of the Prime Minister's Office against the decision to close the "Turgut Ozal" kindergarten, which was taken a few days ago.

During the gathering, the parents asked for the cancellation of this decision, as one of the mothers present called on Prime Minister Edi Rama to take a step back because according to her "the future of their children does not resemble a Turkish soap opera".

On their part, the children are standing with their parents in front of the prime minister's building to get an answer, drawing and playing with each other as if they were in a kindergarten environment, while their parents give speeches.

However, the kindergarten in question was reportedly one of the best in Albania, but the Ministry of Education decided to close it with the argument that it had violated the law after changing the building, even though there are strong doubts that the decision is actually related to a request from the President of Turkey, Erdogan.

This fact was also confirmed by the Turkish media close to the government, which yesterday wrote that the "Mehmet Akif" girls' kindergarten and college were closed at the request of President Erdogan.
