Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated that the President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic, vowed to oppose Kosovo's membership in the UN.

Through a post on social networks, Kurti stated that this would constitute a clear violation of Article 4 of the EU proposal.

Kurti underlined that the normalization of relations is possible only if both sides negotiate in good faith.

"On 1 March 1992 Bosnia-Herzegovina's citizens voted overwhelmingly to form a sovereign & independent state based on the principle of equal citizenship. Today we commemorate that historic event and remember all those who fought & died for that principle. Happy Independence Day", tweeted PM Kurti.
