PM Rama Criticises SPAK on Security Measures Applied

Prime Minister, Edi Rama, criticized this Wednesday the Special Prosecution against Corruption on the stance against the respect of the human rights.

Speaking at the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Rama said that the independent justice should be supported, but not the one who violates the human rights.

He mentioned the case of the former director of the Public Radio-Television, Thoma Gëllçi, who won the case at the Strasbourg Court, while SPAK condemned him with jail.

The Court of Strasbourg evaluated that he was arrested without being condemned, or declared guilty and SPAK should have considered other security measures.
