Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting on Monday with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. 

The news is announced by Rama himself, who publishes a photo with the Turkish President, while writing that they discussed the relations between Albania and Turkey, the challenge of the time to strengthen the economy in the face of Covid-19, the progress of bilateral cooperation, as well as the situation in the Western Balkans region. 

"With the President of Turkey, dear friend Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in one of the conversations during the stay at his summer residence in Marmaris, where we spoke extensively about the relations between Albania and Turkey, the challenge of time to strengthen the economy in the face of Covid -19, the progress of bilateral cooperation, as well as the situation in the Western Balkans region," stated Rama.
