Police have reacted regarding the incident that occurred in "Skënderbej" square where a person tried to burn himself with gasoline. 

Police explain that they accompanied 40-year-old B.G who would commit the extreme act. He was initially detained by the believers and then escorted by law enforcement to police station no.1. 

"On 13.05.2021, around 07:05, in "Skenderbej" square, the citizen B. G., about 40 years old, was painted with gasoline and it is suspected that he intended to set himself on fire, but was stopped by some citizens nearby. 

The 40-year-old was escorted to Police Station No.1. The investigative group continues to work to clarify the circumstances of the event," informed the Police.
