The traffic police in Tirana have controlled for identifying and punishing the violators of the Traffic Code, who cause traffic jams or endanger the lives of road users. 

Through a press release, the traffic police announces that during this week, a number of drivers who did not respect the rules were punished with administrative measures.

"Tirana traffic police continues the controls dedicated to identifying and punishing violators of the Traffic Code, those who violate the safety of life of road users, who create obstacles in traffic. During this week, were identified and punished with administrative measures especially: Drivers who do not comply with the obligation to stop at the white lines in violation of law number 8378, dated 22.07.1998, Road Code amended article 189 paragraph 1. Tirana Traffic Police will continue the dedicated controls, to enable the prevention and crackdown on illegality in the field of road traffic, maximizing the parameters of road safety. It also invites all citizens to report to the number 112 and the Digital Commissariat any case of illegality," declared the traffic police.
