Police Raids Night Club Where Young Albanian Was Killed
Two days after the murder of 31-year-old Visart Cengu in Prizren, the Kosovo police raided the "Kobra City" bar where the incident took place, as well as the residence of one of the people involved in the conflict where the young man lost his life.
According to the Kosovar media, some unspecified materials were found in the "Kobra City" bar, which can be used as evidence for the murder of the 31-year-old from Kukësi.
While in the apartment of one of the persons involved in the serious incident, several bullets and a hand grenade were found.
"Today, the Directorate of Serious Crimes in cooperation with the Regional Directorate of Police in Prizren continued raids in three locations, while the bar "Kobra City" was also raided. During these raids, some illegal things were seized, which can be used as evidence", said police spokesman Shaqir Bytyqi for Express newspaper.
The murder of 31-year-old Visart Cengu happened in the early hours of the morning on January 3. Accompanied by another person, they went to the "Kobra City" bar to drink.
According to reports, it is suspected that the cause of the conflict was the bar's bill. After having a conflict in the bar with Dibran Hoxhaj, the young men went to their car.
At this moment, Dibran Hoxhaj, otherwise known as "Cobra", shot at them, killing Visart Cengu and injuring 27-year-old Admir Shala.
After the incident, the police arrested Dibran Hoxhaj and several other people, who are currently in prison.
