Policeman Arrested for Dealing Drugs in Southern Albania Beach Bar

Police Supervision Agency (PSA) of Vlora and Gjirokastër in cooperation with the Special Operational Force have arrested in flagrantia a Saranda Border Police Station officer and his accomplice. 

In cooperation with each other, the two arrested citizens using a "Beach Bar" in the city of Saranda to camouflage the illegal activity, distributed narcotic substances of the cannabis to different citizens, making significant sums of money. 

In the quality of material evidence, a quantity of narcotics, about 100 doses, an unlicensed TT type firearm, two mobile devices, a vehicle, 555 EUR, 20 GBP and 20,000 ALL were seized. 

Afterwards, the procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Saranda. 

"Police Surveillance Agency (Vlorë-Gjirokastër Region) in cooperation with the Special Operational Force and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë has successfully completed the operation coded "Last Sunday", where they were arrested in in flagrante delicto the police officer, with the duty of Service Corps at the Sarandë Border Police Commissariat, as well as a citizen who is his accomplice, suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics carried out in collaboration" and "Possession, production without permission and weapons and ammunition". 

The two citizens arrested in cooperation with each other, using a "Beach Bar" bar in the city of Saranda to camouflage the illegal activity, distributed narcotic substances of the cannabis sativa type to different citizens, benefiting from significant amounts of money. 

A pistol-type firearm was also found and seized in the premises of the bar along with ammunition, without a permit.
